The 12th Annual EducationUSA University Fair was held on September 9 at the Hotel Emperador in Buenos Aires. This year 25 US universities participated, representing their Undergraduate, Graduate, and Intensive English programs. The Fair was a success thanks to the participation of special guests such as the Embassy, ICANA, Fulbright Commission Argentina, BEC.AR scholarship program, ETS (Educational Testing Services), and IELTS (English Language Testing Services). More than 1000 people participated, the majority were high school students, university students, and young professionals.
During the morning of the Fair, the US Embassy hosted a networking event at the Ambassador’s Residence where US university representatives had the opportunity to meet high school directors and university representatives from Argentina. Each year approximately 2000 Argentines study in the US.
