Agreement Between the Argentine Chamber of Deputies and the US Holocaust Memorial Museum

U.S. Ambassador Noah Mamet participated on Monday in the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Argentine Chamber of Deputies that will allow for the preservation of historial documents. The agreement was signed by the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Julián Domínguez, and Anatol Steck, on behalf of the museum.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Mamet congratulated both representatives on the agreement and said: “We must all bear the responsibility of ensuring that the Holocaust is not forgotten nor relegated to myth“.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hector Timerman and the Israeli Ambassador to Argentina, Dorit Shavit were also present.
