United States Ambassador to Argentina, Edward C. Prado, officially submitted his credentials to Argentina’s President Mauricio Macri on May 15th at the Olivos presidential residence. Ambassador Prado said the meeting was excellent and highlighted the close ties between the U.S. and Argentina.
After the encounter, Ambassador Prado headed to San Martin Square for the wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument to General San Martin.
With these two ceremonies, the Ambassador completed the formal accreditation process as the diplomatic representative of the United States to Argentina.
“I am honored to serve as U.S. Ambassador to a great country like Argentina, and I am eager to help strengthen the bilateral relationship” – said the Ambassador.
