Location:  Argentina 

Event:  Latam Airlines has announced it will operate a flight from Buenos Aires to Sao Paulo, Brazil on Friday, June 9, at 11:30 a.m. from Ministro Pistarini International Airport (Ezeiza). U.S. citizens interested in departing on this flight will need to book directly with Latam Airlines (https://latam.com). *The flight is subject to change.* 

These are not U.S. government-operated or funded flights. U.S. citizens are allowed to transit Sao Paulo, staying in the international terminal.  Please visit U.S. Embassy Brasilia’s webpage on COVID-19 for more information.

For non-U.S. citizens and non-U.S. legal permanent residents traveling from Brazil to the United States, please review the information on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s website (https://www.dhs.gov/news/2020/05/27/department-homeland-security-adds-brazil-list-countries-covid-19-travel-restrictions).

Please reference our Embassy webpage on COVID-19 for the list of required documents and permissions required by the Argentine government to travel to the airport and options on traveling to Buenos Aires from the provinces. You must submit your request to travel 60 (sixty) hours ahead of your departing the provinces or for the airport. Only travelers with confirmed international flight reservations may travel from the provinces to the Buenos Aires metropolitan area 24 hours in advance of the flight. If your travel to Buenos Aires will take longer than 24 hours, please note that in your request.
