Argentina hosts international meeting on nuclear disarmament verification

From November 20 to December 2, Argentina will host the 5th plenary meeting of the International Partnership for Nuclear Disarmament Verification (IPNDV). The IPNDV, established by the United States through a public-private partnership with the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI), aims at identifying potential tools and technologies that will be needed to support future nuclear disarmament verification efforts. The IPNDV channels expertise from over 25 states, among them Argentina, to address the complex challenges involved in the verification of nuclear disarmament. A US delegation participates in the 5th plenary meeting in Buenos Aires.
