Argentine Female Pilot participates in U.S. Exchange Program

Argentine Air Force Second Lieutenant Sofía Vier was selected to participate in the USAF ALP military exchange program to be carried out in the United States. She graduated from Cordoba’s School of Military Aviation. During the one-year program, Sofía will have the opportunity to improve her skills. She is the first Argentine pilot to participate in this program. She will travel to the Defense Language Institute English Language Center (DLIELC) in Texas to receive aviation and English language training. The 50-week program includes 39 hours of IFT (Initial Flight Training), 239 hours of ground training, 164 hours of flight training, and 31 hours of flight simulation.
