Chargé d‘Affairs Inaugurates American Studies Course Offered to University Professors

San Andres University brought professors from the University of California San Diego, Marisa Abrajano and Sebastian Saiegh, to join Argentine specialists in U.S. politics to speak to the group. Chargé D ‘Affairs Kevin Sullivan, along with Cultural Affairs Officer Kerri Hannan and San Andres University President Carlos Rosenkrantz, opened the course on February 24. Twenty-eight professors from Argentine universities located all over the country, as well as from Uruguay are participating in the course.At the opening, U.S. Embassy’s Chargé d‘Affairs had the opportunity to interact with the participants and he answered many interesting questions.

The Seminar is part of the U.S. Embassy’s effort to establish a Chair in U.S. Studies at an Argentine university. This program is the first and only university program focused on the study of the United States. For more information, please visit this website.
