Chargé d’affaires Kevin Sullivan traveled to Posadas, Misiones Province June 9-10 to promote US outreach through a variety of meetings and visits.  Mr. Sullivan met with Misiones Governor Maurice Closs, Posadas Mayor Orlando Franco, had lunch with FURP alumni, and spoke about United States foreign policy at the Universidad Gaston Dachary.  He also did a radio interview with Tupambae local radio station, met with representatives with the Misiones Chamber of Commerce, met with the Prefectura Commander Alejandro Alvarellos.  Finally he toured the Bosques del Plata nursery, which is part of the province’s agricultural exports.  Mr. Sullivan also traveled to the San Ignacio Ruins to learn more about the province’s Jesuit history.
