Chargé d’Affaires Participates in the Federal Country Seminar at FURP

On October 21, the Chargé d’Affaires Kevin Sullivan attended the 29th Federal Country Seminar organized by the Fundacion Universitaria del Río de la Plata. The Chargé d’Affaires spoke about the foreign policy of the United States and the bilateral relationship with Argentina, as well as answered questions from participants on various topics.

The seminar, which takes place from October 20th to 25th, includes young professionals and political leaders from more than 20 provinces, which were selected by the Foundation’s subsidiaries. Of this group, 15 are selected to travel to the United States on behalf of a program funded by the Embassy and the State Department. Kevin Sullivan was presented by the Foundation´s president, Graciela Adan, and former President Luis Rosales, who are both alumni of Embassy programs.

On October 20, Public Affairs Officer Thomas Mesa participated in the inauguration of the seminar and expressed the importance of the FURP program as a bridge between Argentina and the United States.
