Chargé D’Affaires Receives Visit of Stanford University Students

On March 26, a group of graduate students from the Ford Dorsey Program in International Policy Studies at Stanford University visited the Residence of the Ambassador to talk with the Chargé d’Affaires Kevin Sullivan. The group was led by Professor Francis Fukuyama.

The Stanford students visited Argentina as part of an exchange program to study a specific country in depth. During their visit to the Ambassador’s Residence, the students spoke with Chargé d’Affaires Sullivan and asked questions about the bilateral relationship between Argentina and the United States. They also enjoyed a tour of the Residence.

The meeting was held in support of the 100,000 Strong in the Americas initiative, launched by President Obama in 2011, which seeks to increase academic exchanges between the United States and Latin America.
