Congressional delegation to visit Argentina
A bipartisan delegation of five U.S. senators, led by Senator Robert Menendez (D-New Jersey), Chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will visit Argentina Oct. 24-26. The delegation also includes Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Ben Cardin (D-Maryland), Richard Burr (R-North Carolina), and Ben Sasse (R-Nebraska). The delegation will meet with government officials to discuss the importance of the bilateral relationship and shared interests in protecting human rights and strengthening democratic institutions. The visit to Argentina is part of a regional trip, that included stops in Colombia and Ecuador.
