Ambassador Mamet met with representatives from the civil society and environmental institutions to discuss climate change issues as a lead-up to the 2015 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change to be held in Paris from November 30 to December 11.
The Ambassador and the group exchanged ideas about possible ways of increasing awareness and people’s participation in climate change issues. During the meeting, the Ambassador highlighted President Obama’s words: “Climate change is the most important challenge of our time and one where we all have a role to play.”
