Eddie Berganza, a DC Comics veteran with work on over 1,800 issues, is currently Superman Group Editor at DC Entertainment, the official home of famous super heroes including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and The Flash. He has worked on some of the most important DC projects, including the record-breaking 2011 relaunch of their entire line of publications known as The New 52. Eddie serves as editor for the entire Superman line including Teen Titans, Wonder Woman, and Lobo. He has also worked on the Green Lantern and Deathstroke series.
Among the talents with whom he has worked are Grant Morrison and Geoff Johns. Eddie has also written for DC titles such as Supergirl and Wednesday Comics. Comic Buyer’s Guide recognized him with multiple nominations for the Fan Award of “Favorite Editor.”
Originally from Guatemala, Eddie moved to New York at the age of seven, where he simultaneously learned English and gained appreciation for comics by watching the Adventures of Superman television series. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Video Studies from Brooklyn College and is fluent in Spanish.
