A network of 13 binational centers (BNCs) are located from the far north west border (Salta) to the southern “end of the world” (Ushuaia). The largest BNC, Instituto Cultural  Argentino-Norteamericano (ICANA), was established in Buenos Aires in 1927. Today it has an important enrollment of English language students, supports an active student advising program, and is a test center for U.S. university admission exams such as the GRE, GMAT and TOEFL.

The other principal BNCs are located in Rosario, Mendoza, Córdoba, Tucumán, Santiago del Estero and Salta. PAS supports and facilitates the work of the BNCs with materials, training, and co-sponsorship of programs, but does not provide direct funding. Some of these BNCs provide Commercial information about the U.S., mainly in Buenos Aires, Rosario, Mendoza and Córdoba.
