The IRC subscribes to several online databases accessible only at the IRC:

CIAO – Columbia International Affairs Online
Columbia International Affairs Online (CIAO) is designed to be the most comprehensive source for theory and research in international affairs. It publishes a wide range of scholarship from 1991 on that includes working papers from university research institutes, occasional papers series from NGOs, foundation-funded research projects, and proceedings from conferences.

Factiva
Factiva is a global news database featuring nearly 33,000 sources, including licensed publications, influential websites, blogs, images and videos. Thousands of sources not available on the free web are available on Factiva on or before the date of publication by the source. Achieve a global view with quality sources from nearly every country or dive deep into a particular region with local coverage. Factiva is the only content provider that offers direct access to premium Dow Jones content including Dow Jones Newswires, The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s.

Lexis-Nexis
A full text database of current and historic federal legislation, bill tracking, bill texts, state legislation, case law, law reviews, etc., plus a full text database of more than 6,000 news sources and periodicals.
