Solicitation Number: 19AR2019Q0017 – Dedicated Internet access for Opennet & Odinet

Synopsis: We hereby announce the upcoming solicitation for a dedicated Internet access for the U.S. Embassy Buenos Aires. The resulting contract will be a 12-month, firm-fixed price purchase order.

The solicitation will be published in the US Embassy’s webpage in 15 days. Prospective offerors will find all the information relating dates for submitting proposals and technical specifications, among others.

All timely submitted proposals shall be considered for award, and the United States Government will award the contract following the criteria included in the specifications.

SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7, and prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to submitting their proposals.

Solicitation Number: 19AR2019Q0002 – Cellphone and data services 

Synopsis: Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Argentina will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available.

The requirement is to provide cellphone and data services for various offices for the U.S Embassy in Argentina, for official domestic and international use, including mobile cellular voice, text, roaming, and data services. The estimated quantity of phone lines is 300. Please note that these are only estimated quantities.

The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with one one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.

The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.

All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database  prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
