The requirement is to provide cellphone and data services for various offices for the U.S Embassy in Argentina, for official domestic and international use, including mobile cellular voice, text, roaming, and data services. The estimated quantity of phone lines is 300. Please note that these are only estimated quantities.

The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with one one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered.

The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The
resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.

All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.

Solicitation Number: 19AR2019Q0027 – Mail transportation services

Synopsis: We hereby announce the upcoming solicitation for a mail transportation service for the U.S. Embassy Buenos Aires. The resulting contract will be a 12-month, firm-fixed price purchase order.

The solicitation will be published in the US Embassy’s webpage in 15 days. Prospective offerors will find all the information relating dates for submitting proposals and technical specifications, among others.

All timely submitted proposals shall be considered for award, and the United States Government will award the contract following the criteria included in the specifications.

SAM registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7, and prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to submitting their proposals.

Solicitation Number: 19AR2019Q0040 – Construction/renovation of an existing office building

The Embassy has a requirement for a firm to construct/renovate an existing office building. This construction effort is estimated between USD 25,000 and USD 100,000 dollars and needs to be completed by January 2020 in the district of Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires. This work consists of repair, remodeling, reconditioning, painting and improvements, and includes the remodeling of kitchen, bathrooms and laundry, restoration of all carpentry and all floors, and new facilities throughout the house (electrical, sewage, provision of water and gas).

All firms that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their proposal:

• Be able to understand written and spoken English;

• Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing;

• Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work;

• Have all licenses and permits required by local law;

• Meet all local insurance requirements;

• Have the ability to obtain a performance and guarantee bond and a payment bond, or to post adequate performance security, such as irrevocable letters of credit or guarantees issued by a reputable financial institution;

• Have no adverse criminal record;

• Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States;

• Have good experience and past performance records; and,

• Identify specialized experience and technical competence required to complete the construction work in accordance with this solicitation.
