Over 25 scholars from different Embassy programs, including 12 from the provinces, had the opportunity to participate in the “International Young Leaders Summit.”
The meeting also gathered Youth Ambassadors Program participants who traveled to the United States (from 2008 to 2014) to meet in person and exchange experiences of community work they have done in their hometown. In addition to continuing to strengthen the network of fellows, they learned about other study opportunities and scholarships from Education USA, as well as had the opportunity to meet embassy officials.
The Youth Summit is a multicultural event that brings together 1,000 young leaders from several Latin American countries to discuss the future of nations. Businessmen, intellectuals and opinion leaders gave presentations to the new generations.
