Joe Troop & Diego Sánchez Bluegrass Duo start their tour in Argentina to spread bluegrass – a form of American roots music, and a subgenre of country music.
Joe Troop, originally from the United States and Diego Sánchez, from Argentina create and perform original music for the 5-string banjo, fiddle, double bass and voice. Their genre-bending compositions reflect the urban melting pot they have emerged from.
Sponsored by the U.S. Embassy, the acoustic world-music duo will tour the provinces of Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Entre Ríos and Misiones in May and June. Free entrance and admission.
