June: LGBT Pride Month

The Bosch Palace, residence of the US Ambassador in Argentina, will be lit up with rainbow colors to celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month.

June has been recognized as Gay Pride Month for many years in the United States. It marks a time when gays celebrate their identity with events that include parades, street festivals and educational efforts. In addition to members of the LGBT community, family members and friends often join in to offer support.
