Ambassador Keith Harper, Representative of the United States to the United Nations Human Rights Council, will make a brief stop in Argentina from December 12-16 as part of his regional visit. His trip will also include visits to Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Argentina and Paraguay. During his trip, he will meet with government officials, non-government organizations and members of civil society.
Mr. Harper was nominated by President Obama to serve on the United Nations Human Rights Council and was confirmed by the senate on June 4, 2014. He also acts as a member on the President’s Commission on White House Fellowships. Previously, Mr. Harper served as a Supreme Court Justice on the Supreme Court of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians.
