Marc R. Stanley Submitted Credentials and is Officially the United States Ambassador to Argentina
The United States Ambassador to Argentina, Marc R. Stanley, submitted his credentials today to President Alberto Fernandez at the Casa Rosada. With this step, Ambassador Stanley completed his formal accreditation process to lead the United States diplomatic mission in Argentina.
After the ceremony, the Ambassador and the President held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs Santiago Cafiero and Chief of Cabinet Juan Manzur.
Ambassador Stanley said the meeting was excellent and highlighted the close ties between both countries. “I am honored to serve as U.S. Ambassador to a great country like Argentina. I am eager to help strengthen the bilateral relationship, one of the most solid and important in the hemisphere” he said.
