Chargé d’Affaires Kevin K. Sullivan was invited to participate in one of Fundación Centro de Estudios Americanos (CEA) regular series of monthly meetings, as part of their activities of their Permanent Seminar on National and International Issues.
“As many of you know, Argentina and the United States collaborate through global diplomacy on a wide variety of issues, including peacekeeping operations in Haiti and nuclear non-proliferation. We are also cooperating on global challenges through initiatives like the scientific investigation of global warming and treatments for diseases. These joint efforts don’t always appear in the newspapers, but at the end of the day, they have more impact in the real world than the political differences that everyone is talking about.”
