Richard Ford in the Book Fair

Richard Ford, Pulitzer Prize and Princess of Asturias Award winner will be among the American writers especially invited by the Embassy to present at the 44th Edition of the Buenos Aires International Book Fair. Ford’s presentation will take place on Saturday, April 28 in the Julio Cortázar Room, Yellow Pavilion. He will be interviewed by the Argentine writer, Paula Varsavasky, and after the discussion, he will sign copies of his book at the booth of Riverside Agency.

Born in 1944 in Jackson, Mississippi, Richard Ford is the author of six novels: A Piece of My Heart, The Last Chance, Wildlife, and the Frank Bascombe trilogy: The Sportswriter, Independence Day (Pulitzer Prize and PEN/Faulkner Award), and Thanksgiving; three books of short and long stories: Rock Springs, Women with Men and A Multitude of Sins, and the essay My Mother, in Memory (published in Spanish by Anagram). Ford is hailed as one of the best American writers of his generation.
