Rosario Students Learn About the Work of the Embassy

Argentine Political Science and International Relations students from the National University of Rosario met with U.S. Embassy representatives to learn about the history of bilateral cooperation between the United States and Argentina as well as the day-to-day activities carried out by the different Embassy sections.

Ambassador Noah Mamet welcomed them to his residence and spoke about the focus of the Embassy’s work in Argentina in the areas of science, technology, energy, and particularly education.  He highlighted the importance of educational exchange programs and shared the many opportunities offered to students to study in the United States.

Students also received information about the Fulbright Commission and EducationUSA scholarships to study in the U.S while at the Bosch Palace, the official residence of the U.S. Ambassador to Argentina.
