Shipment of cremated remains to the United States by a Funeral Home

In order to transport cremated remains to the United States, the Argentine funeral home is required to sign an affidavit at the U.S. Embassy. Request an appointment at BuenosAires-ACS@state.gov

Documents required:

• Argentine death certificate (Original or certified copy)
• Cremation certificate (original or certified copy)
• Flight itinerary and final destination address
• Valid ID or Passport of the funeral home representative (original)

Fee:

• Deceased is a U.S. Citizen: No fee
• Deceased is a non-U.S. Citizen: USD 50
