Antonio Moreira is vice provost for academic affairs and professor of chemical, biochemical and environmental engineering at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC).
Prof. Moreira works on STEM education initiatives, to include curriculum and pedagogy development, design of engaged learning activities, and other initiatives geared toward increasing student interest and success in STEM classes.
Prof. Moreira will give two presentations on “Investing in a More Promising Future through STEM education”. Admission is free and open to the public.
