U.S. National Youth Science Camp Program

The National Youth Science Camp (NYSC) is a well-known educational program that brings together  students from the United States and  other countries, who have demonstrated excellence in leadership in scientific activities. The program aims to stimulate students’ aptitude for research and studies in the environment, science, technology and mathematics. The program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, the state of West Virginia, and the National Youth Science Foundation, and is aimed at students with high academic achievement who have a demonstrated interest in the sciences.

The NYSC is an enriching educational experience that offers activities such as seminars, directed study, practical workshops, hands-on experiments in nature, and dialogue with experts representing different scientific areas.

The camp is conducted in English and includes an extensive program of outdoor activities. The NSYC offers a unique opportunity to share with students from the United States and other countries and establish friendships that last a lifetime with students who have similar interests.
