Argentina and the USA will face each other on Saturday, February 7th and Sunday, February 8th, in the first round of the Fed Cup, a professional women’s tennis tournament. The Embassy together with Fundación Baccigalupo participated in the Fed Cup Kids’ Day, a special event where youth had the chance to play against the Argentine team.
This activity, organized by the Argentina Tennis Association, brought together a group of kids with disabilities from Fundación Baccigalupo’s tennis program and the Argentine players, Paula Ormaechea, María Irigoyen, Nadia Podoroska and Tatiana Bua.
Cultural Affairs Officer, Christine Meyer, and Timothy Stater, Economic Counselor, also had the chance to participate and play with the kids. Cultural Attache Christine Meyer and Economic Attache Timothy Stater participated in this special event.
