Rachel Waldstein, a Foreign Affairs Officer in the Department of State’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL), Western Hemisphere Affairs (WHA), will be visiting Embassy Buenos Aires July 26 – August 1.  While in Argentina, Ms. Waldstein will conduct meetings with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, non-governmental private organizations (NGOs), religious affairs organizations, and governmental officials in Buenos Aires and Tucuman.  The purpose of the visit is to provide Ms. Waldstein an in-country understanding of the human rights policies and organizations in Argentina.
