Voting Day

American citizens residing in Argentina participated in a voting event organized by the American Citizen Services unit at the Embassy. Hundreds of Americans had the opportunity to register to vote, request absentee ballots, and/or cast their votes with the assistance of Consular staff.  “By voting here today, you have exercised your most important right as a U.S. citizen and have demonstrated your interest in our nation’s future,” said Ambassador Mamet.

Ambassador Susan Jacobs, Special Advisor for Children’s Issues, attended the event and greeted participants together with Consul General Brendan O’Brien.

There are more than 25, 000 American citizens residing in Argentina either for business, studying abroad, or raising their families.
