The electronical Consular Report of Birth Abroad (eCRBA) will allow parents to fill out an application online, upload required documents, and submit an online payment of $100 prior to the in-person interview.
Before you begin the eCRBA application, please read through the CRBA checklist carefully to help ensure you have all the required documentation ready to upload and ready to take with you on the day of your interview.
Create a MyTravelGov account to get started on your eCRBA application and make your online payment*. MyTravelGov is a secure, encrypted portal. Once you complete the online application and submit your payment, you will be asked to contact the American Citizen Services Unit to schedule an appointment: BuenosAires-ACS@state.gov
*NOTE: If you are unable to pay online using Pay.gov platform, see the document with instructions: Paying at Consular Cashier
Your child and both parents must attend the interview.
