Young Entrepreneurs at Red Innova

As part of its activities aimed at supporting Argentina’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, the Embassy participated in Red Innova’s two day conference on innovation, internet, creativity and entrepreneurship.

Red Innova is an international organization that holds annual conferences connecting Latin American technology experts, investors, accelerators, governments and educators. The Embassy kicked off the conference by hosting a welcome reception for speakers, sponsors, government officials and industry experts at the Ambassador’s Residence.

As part of the conference, the Embassy designed and sponsored a workshop for young entrepreneurs that included Youth Ambassadors and students from the Blackberry Innovation Center and Junior Achievement.

The workshop, held on May 23rd in Buenos Aires, was titled “Inspiring Future Innovators: Today’s Ideas, Tomorrow’s Successes,” and featured Nicolas Bilinkis, 14 year old CEO of Bookmerang, and Pablo Orlando, creator of Good People, a successful business that is currently being turned into a Harvard Business School case study.
